California is the most populated state in the country. With Arnold Schwarzenegger as the governor at the moment. The capitol is Sacramento and the largest city is Los Angles.
New York is the 3rd most populated state in the USA. Albany is the Capitol and of course the largest city is New York City. New York covers 54,475 square miles (141,089 km²) and ranks as 27th largest state by size.
Illinois ranks 5th in the country for population, Springfield Illinois are the Capitol and Chicago Illinois is the largest City in the State.

Atlanta tops the list of cities that stop receiving junk mail for the week 10/14/07 to 10/20/07. Seems Atlanta has many tree street names. Many of them with peach tree in it. So it looks as though people in Atlanta like to name streets after trees and at the same time save the trees by using services to stop receiving junk mail. Keep up the good work Atlanta GA!

They are people that are looking at ways to save the earth by trying to go paperless. Let’s try to get a few other states interested in stopping unwanted mail.

California Massachusetts and Florida lead the top stopped direct mail and catalog opt out choices between September 30th 2007 and October 6th 2007. These are the the top United States Postal Service customers that are stopping unwanted or unneeded junk mail on a daily basis.
These states were the most active in stopping junk mail. I thought it might be interesting to look at request to stop junk mail by city. The leading cities in the top ten were Baton Rouge LA, Las Vegas NV and San Francisco CA for this same time period.
Am thinking another interesting statistic might be catalog choice by city might in the future.
